摘  要:叉头框-C2(forkhead box C2,FOXC2)是叉头样/翼状螺旋家族的一个转录因子,具有典型的forkhead结构域,在胚胎及产前发育中发挥重要作用。FOXC2在肿瘤细胞增殖及转移、血管生成、淋巴管生成、肾脏疾病及新陈代谢中起着关键的调节作用,但确切的机制尚不明了。因此,对FOXC2的深入研究有助于进一步了解其相关疾病的发生及发展机制。该文就目前对FOXC2基因的认识及其功能的研究进展进行综述。FOXC2, a transcription factor of the forkhead/winged-helix family, possesses a classical forkhead domain, which is required for embryonic and prenatal development.FOXC2 acts as a crucial modulator during tumor cell proliferation, metastasis, angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, renal disease and metabolism, but very little is known about the precise underlying mechanisms.Therefore, an in-depth study of FOXC2 is helpful to further understand the pathogenesis and developmental mechanism of FOXC2-related diseases.The purpose of this review is to summarize the current understanding of FOXC2 and its function.
