摘　　要：传统服饰文化历史悠久、广博丰富,是中国传统文化的精粹,在新时代文化传播与复兴中对其外译技巧的探讨十分重要。针对传统服饰文化中的四字词语,聚焦其灵活性、复杂性及多样性等特征,在充分理解传统文化内涵并掌握汉语与英语迥异的内在含义和表达方式的基础上,采用劳伦斯·韦努蒂(Lawrence Venuti)解构主义翻译理论,从源语意图、翻译目的、文本类型等要素出发,重点阐释异化翻译法、归化翻译法在服饰文化四字词语外译实践中的适用技巧,对中国传统服饰文化外译和海外传播与交流具有一定参考意义。Chinese traditional clothing culture has a long history and rich connotations, which is an integral part of Chinese traditional culture. It is very important to explore its translation skills in the new era of cultural communication and revival. This paper takes Chinese four-character phrases in traditional clothing culture as the research object, interprets their flexibility, complexity and diversity, fully understands the connotation of traditional culture, and grasps different inherent meanings and means of expression between Chinese and English. Based on Lawrence Venuti’s deconstructionist translation theory, starting from the elements of source language intention, translation purpose and text type, this paper focuses on explaining the applicable skills of foreignizing translation and domesticating translation in translating Chinese four-character phrases. This is of great significance for the translation of Chinese traditional clothing culture and its overseas communication.
