河北省图书馆沿革概述——1908―1961年

摘　　要：河北省图书馆始建于1908年,开馆服务于1909年,至今已有百余年历史。期间,因省会三迁,1961―1987年有近30年空白期。择取1908到1961年区间,沿着在保定莲池及西城南马道建立的直隶图书馆、河北省立图书馆馆舍变迁,梳理河北省图书馆的历史发展轨迹,使其发展变迁脉络更加清晰。其不同时期所呈现的个性、共性特征及其历史地位、作用,都刻上了时代的烙印,成为中国近代图书馆发展进程的一个缩影。The Hebei Library was established in1908 and first opened to the public in1909.In its history of over100 years,there existed a gap lasts for nearly 3 decades from1961 to1987 due to the relocations of the capital city of Hebei province.The discussion in this paper is scoped within the period from1908 to1961,when at the very beginning the Library was named Zhili Library and was located along Nanma Street in Lianchi District of Baoding City while with several relocations,it gradually developed into Hebei Library. The individuality,commonness,historical status and function of these libraries in different periods have been engraved with the brand of the times and become a microcosm of the development process of modern libraries in China.
