Tonifying method is one of the eight methods of Chinese medicine. In the narrow sense, aiming at the deficiency of the body , the method of tonifying is a treatment method of tonifying the deficiency of qi, blood, yin and yang in the human body to treat various kinds of deficiency syndrome. Generalized tonifying method is not only limited totonify deficiency, but also to adjust and maintain the imbalance of all physical and mental functions, so as to benefit from it and return it to peace. The state of human body is closely related to the ups and downs of the movement of qi and blood, and the circulation of qi and blood is the key to the treatment of diseases. Whether it is tonifying deficiency or purging excess pathogens, it starts with qi and blood, or tonifying qi and blood,or promoting qi, or promoting blood circulation, or both. Any method that can harmonize qi and blood, make them flow smoothly in the meridians, and achieve the relative equilibrium of yin-yang can be called tonifying method, that is, the so-called " qi and blood circulation being tonifying".
