摘　　要：英国BBC教学实验性纪录片《我们的孩子足够坚强吗》折射出了中英两国自尊教育的巨大差异。自尊是个体对其自身价值的一种积极的认知评价,而自尊教育即引导个体产生积极的自我认识、促其发挥自身优点的教育。文章先讨论了中英自尊教育在三个方面的差异,并从教师角度出发,对青少年的自尊教育提出建议,希冀为中国的青少年自尊教育提供启示。The British documentary Are Our Kids Strong Enough casts a reflection on the remarkable difference of self-esteem education between China and Britain.Based on it,this paper looks into the differences of self-esteem education of the two countries from three dimensions.Finally,some suggestions are given to provide implications for teachers.
