摘　　要：本文介绍中美两位国际著名数学家徐利治和高尔德教授的学术活动.他们均为计数组合学的创新者,在数学研究中多有交集,成果丰硕,为数学事业做出了重大贡献.他们之间还保持了半个多世纪的友谊.This paper briefly presents the academic activities of two internationally renowned mathematicians Prof.Leetsch.C.Hsu and Prof.Henry W.Gould.Both of them were innovators in the area of enumerative combinatorics,had similar research interests,fruitful,and had made significant contributions to mathematics.They had kept a friendship for more than half a century.
