摘　　要：为培养中医人才,阎锡山于1921年创建了省立本科学校——山西医学专门学校。然而西医对中医的排挤,中医研究的不显效,南京国民政府对高等教育的管理日益加强,中原大战以及毕业生近西医而远中医的态度等因素促使山西医学专门学校的办学层次与宗旨发生了改变,1932年改为培养西医人才的私立专科学校。In order to train TCM personnel, Yan Xishan established Shanxi Medical Specialized School which was a provinicial undergraduate college in 1921. However, the squeeze of western medicine on TCM , the ineffectiveness of TCM research, the increasingly strengthened management of higher education by the Nanjing government, the failure of the Central Plain War, the attitude of graduates who were close to western medicine but far away from TCM and other factors prompted to change the education level and principle of Shanxi Medical Specialized School. It was changed into a private junior college for training western medicine personnel in 1932.
