摘　　要：地方高校办学特色演进的阶段性特征十分明显,它每一次嬗变的重要节点正好是我国经济转型的关键期,据此可以将其分为"形成""发展""成熟"等三个阶段。各阶段的发展都离不开目标机制、动力机制、协同机制与保障机制。这些机制使特色建设各要素、各环节彼此关联影响,相互作用,从而挖掘潜力,集结力量,重点突破,打造特色,形成个性化的体制机制,积累丰富的特色建设经验。认真总结这些经验,对当前地方高校向应用技术大学转型无疑具有一定的启示意义。It is very obvious that evolution of university-running characteristics of local universities represents phased development. The node of each transformation is just the key period of our country’s economic transformation. It can be divided into three stages:"formation","development" and "maturity". The development of each stages can not be separated from the target mechanism, motivation mechanism, coordination mechanism and guarantee mechanism. These mechanism make the elements and links of characteristic construction influenced mutually. It can gather popular sentiments & strength, built up the brand and characteristics of school-running. The whole process accumulated profound wisdom and experience, and provided many useful enlightenment for the current transformation of local universities into applied technology universities.
