岭南名中医抗击“甲午鼠疫”述评

摘　　要："甲午鼠疫"是指1894年始在岭南爆发的恶性传染病鼠疫。在抗击鼠疫的过程中,当时的岭南中医名家如易巨荪、黎庇留、罗芝园、黎佩兰、林庆铨等批评了庸医(游医)只观察疾病发生的现象、不研究其本质的做法;岭南中医名家继承前人经验,结合甲午鼠疫的特异性,探寻鼠疫根本病因和病机,创立了如升麻鳖甲散、解毒活血汤等具明显疗效的验方和治法。因其根据的经典及观察视角的不同,故提出了不同的验方和治法,彼此间相互论争,又精诚合作,实践了中医"治病必求于本"的理念,也用临床实践抨击了"中医不识菌、岂能治传染病"的反中医言论。近代岭南医家治疫的大无畏精神和科学探索态度值得后人学习和借鉴。Jiawu Plague refers to the epidemic disease broke out in Lingnan(the South of five ridges)region from the year of Jiawu,i.e.,the year of 1894 described by heavenly-stem earthly-branch Chinese calendar.In the campaign against Jiawu Plague,the famous traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)practitioners of YI Ju-Sun,LI Bi-Liu,LUO Zhi-Yuan,LI Pei-Lan,LIN Qing-Quan in Lingnan region gave a criticism on the quacks,for the quacks only focused on the representation of the plague and neglected the nature of plague.The practitioners explored the fundamental etiology and pathogenesis based on inheriting the experiences of predecessors and binding to the specificity of Jiawu Plague,and established some effective therapies and experiences recipes such as Shengma Biejia Powder and Jiedu Huoxue Decoction.Arguments about the therapies and recipes rose up among the practitioners for they made the reference to various classic medical literatures and established the therapy and recipe from different prospects.However,the arguments did not affect their close cooperation in the treatment of the plaque from the root pathogenesis.Their experiences against Jiawu Plague counterattacked the anti-TCM judgement of TCM being unable to treat infectious disease for TCM having no idea of bacteria.The fearless spirit and scientific attitude of the famous TCM practitioners in Lingnan region in the Modern Period give an example for the descendants to develop TCM.
