摘　　要：中国的双年展活动始于20世纪90年代,但延续至今的只有上海双年展。王林作为1996年首届上海双年展的策展人,一直坚持开启、推动当代艺术活动的初衷,继上海双年展后,策划了首届"重庆青年美术双年展"(2009)和首届"重庆国际实验影像双年展"(2018-2019)。关于双年展的制度、发展等问题,《当代美术家》邀请王林专门展开讨论。Biennale in China started in 1990 s,however,only Shanghai Biennale still keeps alive.As the curator of The First Shanghai Biennale 1996,Wang Lin has always insisted on the original intention of starting and promoting contemporary art and the related activities.Then he curated First Chongqing Biennial for the Young Artists(2009),First Chongqing Experimental Visual Art(photography & video)Biennale(2018).Contemporary Artists interviewed Wang Lin on the institution and development of Biennale.
