“熏陶人格是根本”--近代南开中学的育人特色

摘  要:由近代著名爱国教育家张伯苓先生亲手创办的南开中学是我国近代中学教育的一面旗帜。在他“熏陶人格是根本”思想的引领下,南开中学的育人理念和经验可以概括为:以公能训练为方针,始终一贯不变;把学校作为预备场,锻炼做事能力;教育是立在精神上的,注意学生的精神修养;课程是学生在校时的生活历程,注重课程载体之利用;营造优良的校风,驱使全校学生随之亦好;教育是师生间的相互影响,教育者当注重人格感化。这些优良的育人传统可为当下学校立德树人提供有益的启示和借鉴。Established by famous patriotic educator Zhang Boling, Nankai High School raises a banner in modem high school education of China. With the guidance of Zhang's brief “To edify personality is the essence”, we can summarize the education experience and theory of Nankai High School into several key points: the first is to nurture public awareness and morality of students consistently;the second is to assist students in handling practical tasks at school;the third is to emphasize the spiritual cultivation of students;the fourth is to take advantage of well-rounded curriculum;the fifth is to create a good school atmosphere;the sixth is to strengthen the personality influence effect of teachers. For schools nowadays, all of these education traditions are able to offer beneficial reference and inspiration.
