《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》“用法说明”聚合模式的演变

摘　　要：《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》从第4版开始正式设有用法说明栏目,虽然这一栏目的出发点是为了说明词语用法,但它客观上把具有某种相同或相关特征的词汇聚合在一起促成了形态、语义、语法和搭配的关联或比较,具有明显的类比效应。该词典已修订过多版,其用法说明专栏的聚合分类模式也随之发生了较大改变。文章穷尽性抽取了其第4、6、7和8版用法说明所聚集的词汇集合,在比较分析的基础上探寻"用法说明"模块的聚合分类趋势,同时尝试对这些趋势加以理据解读和局限性分析。Since its fourth edition,the Oxford Advanced Learner’s English-Chinese Dictionary(OALECD)has set up a column of Usage Note,which categorizes the words according to their paradigmatic relations for the convenience of comparison or differentiation,and for the purpose of explaining their usage.With several revisions in different editions,the categorization of the usage notes has underlied many changes.This paper is intended to sample all the Usage Note colomns from editions 4,6,7 and 8 to trace the trend of the changes and to attempt theoretical intepretations of it.
