摘  要:记忆是理解非裔美国作家莫里森小说《宠儿》的关键点。莫里森通过揭开主人公痛苦的记忆来探寻美国非裔族群对历史的审视及自我认同。小说中记忆的焦点落在主人公杀死幼女的伦理悖论上,这引发了评论界的不同评价和争议。本文从文化记忆理论视角入手,阐释作者设置这一伦理悖论的意义,分析小说中个人记忆与集体记忆在伦理悖论上的对峙与协商以及最终以族裔文化记忆的方式达成的整合。本文指出,莫里森通过塑造不同的记忆主体及其记忆的多层面流动,建立了时间、空间与历史的互文,表现了美国非裔对苦难的反思,使小说超越了个人悲剧与族裔文化审美的文学维度,成为具有当代美国非裔族群标识性的文化记忆读本。Memory is the key point in understanding Toni Morrison's Beloved. By revealing the pro-tagonist5 s anguish memory, Morris on tries to explore how the Africa n Americans think of history and think of themselves. The focus of memory in this novel is set on the ethnic dilemma of killing one's own daughter, which involves doubts in literary field. However, this article aims to explain the signifi-cance of writing the memory of this ethnic dilemma, which actually suggests the harsh process of constructing an African American identity through cultural history, and signifies the intertextuality a- mong time, space and history by narrating the memories of individual and comm unity in a certain pe-riod of time. This helps the novel become a memorably and in valuably exemplary text of cultural memory in African American literature.
