摘 要:“外国文学史”是汉语言文学专业的一门基础课,因其总体性叙事和与生俱来的“他者”性,遭到人们的批评,陷入生存危机。在“后冷战”时期的全球化浪潮中,文化差异再次作为政治问题凸显出来,文化、文明的交流互鉴成为人们的共识与时代主题。民族文化建设、对异文化理解的时代需要,使得在功利性社会和信息化时代被边缘化的“外国文学史”这门课程再次获得了自我发展的历史性契机,以“文化开掘”的方式,重新定位自我,确立本土文化意识与学生主体意识,拓宽精神和价值边界,发挥它应有的作用与价值,实现教学困境的突围。History of Foreign Literature is a basic course for the major of Chinese language and literature.Because of its general narrative and the inherent“other”nature,it has been criticized and fallen into the crisis of survival.In the wave of globalization in the Post-Cold War era,cultural differences are once again highlighted as a political issue.The exchange and mutual learning of culture and civilization has become the consensus of people and the theme of the times.The construction of national culture and the need of understanding different cultures make this course marginalized in the era of utilitarian society and informatization get the historical opportunity of self-development once again.By means of“cultural excavation”,we can reposition ourselves,establish local cultural consciousness and students’subjective consciousness,broaden spiritual and value boundaries,and play its due role and value to achieve breakthrough in teaching.
