摘　　要：《史通》和《文史通义》是中国古代最伟大的史学理论著作 ,集中体现了刘知几、章学诚的史学理论成就。二书对各种史书体裁、体例的流变和得失都有详尽的论述 ,较完整地反映了两人对历史编纂学的认识 。The General History and The General Survey of Cultrues and History are two Dreatest works on historical theories of which Liu Zhiji and Zhang Xuecheng's achievements on this regard are adquatering embodied. Based on a comprehersive discussion conerning introduction, transformation and evaluation of various types and styles on historical books, those two works not only reflect their acknowledgement on historical compiling research, but also attach a great significance of reference and enlightenment to nowaday's historical compiling research and practice.
