摘　　要：省略称得上英语比较结构的显著特点 ,大多数比较结构中都或多或少地省略了一些成分 ,但是并非所有的英语比较结构都能采取省略形式 ,省略与否是有原则的。因此 ,正确认识英语比较结构中的各类省略问题 ,对于正确理解或准确表达这类结构是非常重要的。Ellipses can be thought of as outstanding characteristics in the English Comparative Constructions. More or less, some components in the comparative constructions are omitted. But not all the comparative constructions can take the form of ellipsis. Ellipsis or not depends on some principles. Therefore, it is very important to comprehend and express these constructions accurately and unmistakably under the correct cognition of ellipses.
