美国医生的语用身份建构研究

摘　　要：以医患会话为语料,采用定量分析和定性分析相结合的方式,阐析美国医生如何使用语气、情态和人称等语言策略建构多种语用身份。研究发现,随着动态语境的变化,医生蓄意地建构医学专家、朋友以及倾听者等语用身份以凸显不同的交际意图。医生对语用身份的选择不是被动地反映在语言层面,而是在语气、情态和人称方面主动选择,且同患者共同建构的结果。此研究成果有助于启发国内外医生根据具体语境建构相应的语用身份,促进医患关系和谐发展。Ten doctor-patient discourses are cited as the corpus to illustrate how American doctors apply language strategies such as mood,modality and person to construct various pragmatic identities,with quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis employed.With the change of dynamic context it is found that,doctors deliberately establish such pragmatic identities as medical experts,friends and listeners to highlight different communicative intentions.Doctors'choice of pragmatic identity is not reflected passively on the linguistic level,but is the result of their active choice in mood,modality and person,which is constructed together with the patients.This study is helpful to enlighten doctors at home and abroad how to create pragmatic identities according to the specific contexts and promote the harmonious doctor-patient relationship.
