摘 要:点状符号识别是测绘工程学生在地形图测绘过程中必须熟练掌握的一项基础能力,要求学生重点掌握识别地物符号及其对应的编码,课程教学的难点在于地物符号众多,编码长,学生难以记住。传统的教学方法按照传统教材内容一成不变列举地物符号及其编码,这种教学方式不灵活,学生要根据编码翻阅对应的地物符号比较困难,或者凭借记忆中的地物符号去寻找对应的地物编码符号也很烦琐。因此,利用开源图像处理工具OpenCV和Python语言及其界面库PyQt等工具,基于机器学习的SVM算法开发地物符号图像识别系统,辅助教师教学以及帮助学生学习地物符号,从而提高教学质量的目的。Point symbol recognition is in the process of topographic map surveying and mapping surveying and mapping engineering students must master a basic skills,students are required to focus on mastering recognition feature symbols and their corresponding codes,the difficulties of teaching lies in the features numerous symbols,coding,students is difficult to remember.Traditional teaching methods according to the traditional teaching material content invariably list feature symbols and codes,the less flexible teaching methods,students according to the code through the corresponding feature symbol is difficult,or with the memory feature symbol to search for the corresponding feature encoding symbol is also very complicated.So the use of open source tools OpenCV image processing,and the Python language and its interface library PyQt tools,such as SVM algorithm based on machine learning development feature symbol image recognition system,teacher′s teaching and help students learn feature symbols and thus improve the quality of teaching purpose.
