摘 要:天基空间监视系统(SBSS)是美国正在发展的新一代光学空间目标监视系统,主要用于深空目标的搜索,也可执行近地目标的搜索任务,能大幅度提高美国深空物体的探测能力,在新的军事斗争形势中起着基础性和关键性作用。为了深入剖析该系统的探测能力,首先根据目前美国国防部、美国空军及其下属机构公布的资料梳理系统的组成以及运行和部署方式,最后从光学和成像两个角度对其探测能力进行分析,经分析可知SBSS能够覆盖高轨至低轨的目标,系统分辨率可到达米级,对低轨目标可探测到厘米级的目标细节,系统探测性能与目标表面材料反射率以及太阳与目标的相位角相关。Space-based space surveillance system(SBSS) is a new generation of optical space target surveillance system being developed in the United States. It is mainly used for deep space target search and can also perform near-earth target search tasks, greatly improving the detection capability of deep space objects in the United States. In the new situation of military struggle, space surveillance system plays a fundamental and key role. In order to deeply analyze the detection capability of the system, the composition, operation and deployment of the system is firstly combed according to the data published by the US department of defense, the US air force and its subordinate agencies. Finally, the detection capability of the system is analyzed from the optical and imaging perspectives. The analysis shows that SBSS can cover the high-orbit to the low-orbit. The resolution of the system can reach meter level, and the target details can be detected in centimeter level for LEO targets. The detection performance of the system is related to the material reflectivity of the target surface and the phase angle between the sun and the target.
