The Peperomia dindygulensis:a review of phytochemistry and pharmacology perspectives

摘　　要：Plant of peperomia dindygulensis Miq.is widely distributed in southern regions of China,which is traditionally used to treat cough,measles,abscesses and cancerous swelling in Chinese folk.As a traditional medicinal agent,a wide spectrum of chemical constituents have been isolated from the R dindygulensis,including lignans,flavonoids,flavone glycosides,polyketides and other compounds.The research shows that these compounds exhibited bioactivities including antitumor and antiangiogenesis.Hence,this report is presented as a review centered on the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of the R dindygulensis,aiming at its further development and potential value.
