摘 要:弗拉基米尔·纳博科夫素以叙事诡谲著称,视摹仿写实小说和平庸刻板思想为平生大敌。其反传统、反摹仿叙事技巧的最初实践可追溯至其1932年创作的小说《绝望》。在该作中,纳博科夫运用了大量后现代叙事技巧,构筑了诸多非自然空间,使小说远远背离了基于摹仿范式的传统叙事范畴。结合近年来新兴的非自然叙事理论,剖析《绝望》中的组合空间、梦境空间、消解空间,考察非自然空间构造在小说叙事中的独特功用,借以管窥纳博科夫的“反摹仿”创作观。Vladimir Nabokov(1899-1977)has long been known for his changeable narrative styles as well as his detest for mimetic literalistic novels and stereotypical notions.His anti-traditional,anti-mimetic narrative techniques can be traced back to his 1932 works,Despair.In Despair he applied a host of postmodern narrative techniques on unnatural spaces construction,which isolated this fiction from the realm of mimetic-based traditional narratives.This paper intends to dissect the blended spaces,dream spaces,denarrated spaces in this works from unnatural narrative perspective,and to investigate the unique narrative functions of unnatural spaces constructing so as to peep at Nabokov’s anti-mimetic view of creation.
