摘　　要：幽默是语言的艺术表达形式,是生活的调味品、开胃菜。幽默翻译是一个兼及幽默领域和翻译领域的跨学科、跨领域研究,近年来备受学者关注.本文以英国幽默小说家佩勒姆 伍德豪斯(P.G.Wodehouse)的中长篇小说《春日里的弗莱德叔叔》(Uncle Fred in the Springtime)为例进行英汉互译应用研究。试图在言语幽默理论和言后效果对等的理论指导下深入剖析原文中幽默语言的运作机制,并对幽默翻译的方法提出有效建议.Humor is the artistic expression of language,the condiment of life and appetize匚Humor translation is a cross-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary study that combines the field of humor and translation,and has attracted much attention from scholars in recent years.This paper takes Uncle Fred in the Spring Time,a novelist of British humor novelist P.G.Wodehouse,as an example to study the application of English-Chinese translation.Under the guidance of verbal humor theory and postverbal effect equivalence theory,this paper attempts to deeply analyze the operation mechanism of humorous language in the original text,and puts forward some effective suggestions on the methods of humorous translation.
