摘　　要："新工科"是我国高等工程教育对新一轮产业革命做出的快速回应,地方应用型本科高校是"新工科"建设的重要力量,"四用"即理论基础够用、区域建设能用、行业发展适用、生产一线好用,将成为评价应用型人才是否合格的新标准。以机械设计制造及其自动化专业为例,从德才之说、跨界能力、创新能力与国际视野等四个方面阐述了"新工科"赋予的培养规格,并给出了"新工科"背景下"四用"人才培养的具体实施路径,为应用型机械专业的人才培养提供借鉴。"New Engineering" is a rapid response of China’s higher engineering education to the new round of industrial revolution. Local applied undergraduate colleges are an important force in the construction of "new engineering". "Four uses" means that the theoretical foundation is sufficient and regional construction can be used. The development of the industry and the ease of production will be a new standard for evaluating the qualification of applied talents. Taking mechanical design, manufacturing and automation as an example, the training specifications given by "new engineering" are expounded from the aspects of virtue, cross-border ability, innovation ability and international vision, and the background of "new engineering" is given. The specific implementation path of the "four-use" talent training provides a reference for the cultivation of applied mechanical professionals.
