摘　　要：每年的4月22日是世界地球日。随着环境的日益恶化,人们越发意识到保护环境的重要性,那么作为地球公民的我们应该怎么做呢?When the holiday first took place on April 22,1970,pollution was a visible threat.McCarthy-the former administrator of the EPA in 2016-argued that even though our air and water may be much cleaner than it was more than 40 years ago,Earth Day is more important than ever.With carbon emissions climbing,temper-atures rising,and weather getting weirder all over,it feels like the existential threat of our changing climate is impossible to stop.
