摘　　要：系统功能语言学不仅关注语言的实际使用,而且对语言使用者在语言交际中的作用也相当重视。本文首先论述Halliday在语域领域对语言使用者所做的研究及其局限性,然后从评价理论、个体化理论和知者语码理论等三个方面评述Martin在语言使用者领域所做的研究,最后讨论语言使用者研究的理论意义和实用价值。Systemic-functional linguistics has paid close attention to both language use and language user. This paper attempts to discuss Halliday’ research in this area, especially in register, and his limitation, further examine Martin’s research on language user from the perspective of appraisal theory, individuation theory and knower code theory, and then comment on the theoretical and practical value of this kind of research.
