摘　　要：高低语境由著名人类学家霍尔提出,展现了在不同历史渊源、文化背景、社会环境的影响下人们交往模式的差异化。文章以中国为例,分析了高语境文化的根源与特征,进一步探讨高低语境文化差异对于跨文化交际的影响,并就如何更有效地开展跨文化交流提出了建议。High and low contexts,proposed by famous anthropologist Hall,show the differences of people’s communication patterns under the influence of different historical origins,cultural backgrounds and social environments.Taking China as an example,this paper analyses the origin and characteristics of high context culture,then enumerates the influence of cultural differences between high and low context on cross-cultural communication and puts forward some suggestions on how to carry out cross-cultural communication more effectively.
