浅析夏济安译《论美》的艺术美感

摘　　要：结合实例,从语言的多个层面出发,分析夏济安译文《论美》的艺术性。夏先生打破英语语言的结构和习惯束缚,恰当地变译,运用流畅自然的文笔再现原文的哲理内涵;其略带文言味道的措辞,配合叠字、四字短语及平行结构,赋予译文整齐匀称的韵律感。The paper attempts to evaluate the artistry in Xia Ji’an’s translation of Beauty. Sentences from Beauty and their translations are analyzed to illustrate Xia’s reproduction of aesthetic feeling. Despite the disparity between English and Chinese languages, Xia employs flexible translation of abstract words and long sentences in order to deliver the original meaning and connotation. Besides, his classical Chinese style, the use of reduplication, four-character phrases and parallel structures endow the translation with a special sense of rhythm.
