摘　　要：詹妮·弗莱克斯纳是美国20世纪30-40年代公共图书馆阅读指导服务领域的代表人物。研究发现,詹妮·弗莱克斯纳强调阅读指导的成人教育功能,注重读者对特定主题的系统阅读;认为阅读指导应以读者为中心,强调阅读指导的个性化,反对模板化的阅读指导服务,注重读者自身读物选择能力的培养;注重对阅读指导服务对象及效果的实证研究。她的服务思想对今天阅读指导服务的开展具有参考与借鉴意义。Jennie Flexner was a representative teaders’adviser of public libraries in the United States from 1930 s to 1940 s.She was an innovator in the use of public libraries for adult education,and focused on readers’systematic reading of specific subjects.Flexner emphasized the significance of the unique interests in each individual and opposed templated reading.She trained readers’ability of selecting books,and paid attention to empirical research on the readers’advisory service objects and effect.It has reference significance for readers’advisory service in nowadays.
