社交媒体视域下老年人的数字化生存:问题与反思

摘　　要：随着社交媒体深度介入人们的生活,越来越多的老年人获得了新媒体参与机会,同时老年人的数字化生存也面临新的挑战。在社交媒体视域下,国内外学界主要关注“老年人数字化生存”的三个层面问题:在个体层面,不仅关注老年人对新媒体技术接纳问题,还关切涉及隐私关注心理的社交媒体“悦纳”问题,以维护老年人的网络安全感;在群体层面,不仅关注不同群体的社交媒体使用行为差异,还通过理解和尊重老年人的网络社交习惯,提升他们的网络归属感;在社会层面,不仅利用社交媒体帮助老年人扩大社交,获得社会资本和情感赋能,还关注社交媒体对不同群体的公平赋权,促进老年群体获得数字社会的平等生存权,从而增强网络公平感。基于国际比较,我国“老年人数字化生存”研究应充分考虑研究对象的文化根源性、研究情境的中国本土性以及研究方法的问题适切性。With the deep involvement of social media in life,more and more elderly people have access to opportunities to participate in new media.Meanwhile,the digital survival of elderly people also faces new challenges.From the perspective of social media,academic circles at home and abroad mainly focus on the three aspects of “digital survival of the elderly”.At the individual level,they not only pay attention to the acceptance of new media technology by the elderly,but also pay attention to the “acceptability”of social media which involves the psychology of privacy concern,so as to maintain the online security of the elderly.In terms of social relations,we not only pay attention to the differences in social media use behaviors of different age groups,but also improve the online sense of belonging of the elderly by understanding and respecting their online social habits.At the level of social tolerance,social media is not only used to help the elderly expand social networks and obtain social capital and emotional empowerment,but also to give equal rights to different groups,so as to help the elderly groups obtain the equal right in digital society and enhance the sense of network justice.Based on international comparison,the research on “digital survival of the elderly”in China should fully consider the cultural roots of the research objects,the native Chinese characteristics of the research situation and the relevance of the research methods.
