摘 要:我国西北地区的柴达木盆地沉积了巨厚而连续的新生代陆相地层,其北缘宗马海湖地区中新统上油砂山组非常发育,在一道梁剖面出露良好。本文首次报道并详细描述了该剖面上油砂山组的岩性特征,主要为褐红色、灰绿色和灰色砂岩、粉砂岩夹泥岩,发育滨、浅湖沉积相。共发现轮藻化石2属2种:Nitellopsis(Tectochara)merianii和Lychnothamnus barbatus var.antiquus.这两个种广泛分布于欧亚大陆,前者的延限从晚始新世至更新世;后者在我国可能为首次报道,之前仅见于欧洲和土耳其某些地区的中新统地层。根据轮藻化石的时代延限,上油砂山组的沉积时代为中新世,与已有古地磁研究结果一致。对上述两种轮藻化石的现生相关类群的生活环境分析表明,N.(T.)merianii和L.barbatus var.antiquus可能生活于大型冷水、淡水湖泊,这与沉积相分析结果一致。Cenozoic non-marine strata are very thick and continuous in the Qaidam Basin,Northwest China.The Miocene Shangyoushashan Formation is well developed in the Zongmahaihu area in the northern Qaidam Basin,especially in the Yidaoliang section.The formation in this section is reported and lithologically described herein in detail for the first time.It is mainly composed of red,gray・greenish and grayish sandstones and siltstones interbedded with mudstones,mainly relating to shore and shallow lake facies.Two species belonging to two genera of charophytes were described,including Nitellopsis(Tectochard)merianii and Lychnothamnus barbatus var.antiquus.These two species were ever widely distributed in Eurasia,with N.(T.)merianii ranging in age from the latest Eocene to Pleistocene,and L.barbatus var.antiquus probably reported in China for the first time,previously known from the Miocene in Europe and Turkey.According to the age of these two species,the Shangyoushashan Formation is Miocene in age,which is consistent with previous magnetostratigraphical results.Analysis of their extant representatives about living environments indicates that the above two charophytes should have lived in large,cold and freshwater lakes,in agreement with the results of lithofacies analysis of sediments.
