摘　　要：韩礼德把语言的纯理功能分为概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能三大类。在人际交往中讲话者常常采用人际隐喻的方式来表达自己的身份、态度、动机以及对事物的推断和评价等。人际隐喻包括情态隐喻和语气隐喻,本文旨在通过这一理论分析人际隐喻在人际交往中起到的重要作用。Halliday divides the metafunctions of language into three categories:conceptual function,interpersonal function and textual function.In interpersonal communication,speakers often employ interpersonal metaphors to express their identity,attitude,motivation,and inference and evaluation of things.Interpersonal metaphor includes metaphors of modality and metaphors of mood.This paper aims to analyze the important role of interpersonal metaphor in interpersonal communication.
