摘　　要：弥尔顿的《失乐园》是一部以诱惑为题的恢宏史诗。诗人通过一系列前诱惑的共同作用,独具匠心地揭示了夏娃的心理变化,批评了她的虚荣和幼稚,揭示了自律与被诱之间的因果关系。与此同时,诗人把亚当的坠落归咎于他律理性的丧失,塑造了一个独享神恩却自绝于神的艺术形象。通过重新书写诱惑与坠落这一家喻户晓的圣经故事,弥尔顿成功实现了替天行道的创作宗旨,为我们留下了一部诱惑书写的伟大诗篇。Milton’s Paradise Lost is a grand epic on the subject of temptation.Through a series of pre-temptations,Milton ingeniously highlights his penetration into Eve’s psychological change,his criticism of her puerile vanity,and his revelation of autonomy as the cause of her reduction.Meanwhile,by directing the fall of Adam to the loss of heteronomy,Milton portrays an Adam who possesses God’s grace yet chooses to transgress away from Him.By rewriting the biblical story of temptation and fall,Milton succeeds in his attempt to assert eternal providence,leaving to posterity a great work emblematic of his writing of temptation.
