摘 要:以信息技术为代表的现代科技在不同层面孕育着新型的外语教育生态,同时也呼唤着新型的高校外语教师从业素养和职业发展路径。本文将探讨教育信息化环境下外语教学新生态的特点,在分析外语教师职业现状的基础上,从高校外语教师职业发展的主观和客观层面,对外语教师的职业定位、职业发展策略、信息素养及教学技能提升和教学管理等提出具体的参考建议。This paper explores extensively the trendy integration of educational information communication technology(ICT) with foreign language teaching and learning at the tertiary educational institutions in China, which has posted big challenges for foreign language faculties. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the foreign language teaching and its administrative mechanism, the author proposes from the perspectives of both faculty development and administrative reform some counterstrategies so as to facilitate the professional development of foreign language faculties.
