基于语料库“火”隐喻的情感认知研究——以中国古典四大名著为例

摘　　要：“火”作为人类最基本和最重要的工具,自古被运用于人类生产生活等多个领域,且在中国文学中具有丰富内涵。采用定量与定性相结合的研究方法,通过自建中国古典四大名著语料库,运用MIP隐喻识别程序识别语料库中“火”的情感隐喻,发现:四大名著中蕴含丰富的“火”的情感隐喻表达,且《红楼梦》蕴含的数量最多;“火”可表征焦虑、愤怒、喜悦、激情等情感范畴,“火”引发人的各种肤觉体验(烫、烧、暖、热等)是“火”隐喻表征多样化情感的认知动因。以中国古典四大名著为语料研究“火”的情感隐喻,不仅利于揭示“火”与人类情感的内在关系,而有助于加深对名著中人物情感的理解,对宣传和保护中国传统文学具有重要意义。Since ancient times,fire(huo in Chinese),one of the essential tools of human beings,has been applied in many fields of human production and life,and also attaches rich connotation to Chinese literature.By combining qualitative and quantitative researches,this paper establishes a self-built corpus of four classical Chinese novels and employs MIP(metaphor identification procedure)to identify emotion metaphors of fire in the Corpus.The findings indicate that emotion metaphors of fire are frequently used in four great classical Chinese novels,and the largest number of this kind of rhetoric device can be read in A Dream of Red Mansions.Additionally,metaphors of fire can express various emotions such as anxiety,anger,delight and passion.The cognitive motivation that the metaphor symbolizes diversified emotions is generated from the tactual experiences that fire brings about to human beings such as scalding,burning,warming and heating.The corpus-based research on the emotion metaphors of fire in four great classical Chinese novels is of great significance to publicize and protect Chinese traditional literature,for it helps reveal the internal relation between fire and human emotions and deepen the understanding of characters’emotions in the classics.
