摘 要:清代学者黄承吉提出"扬雄《汉书》中不当有传"之说,张佩纶则贬斥《扬雄传》不伦不类。考察可知,二人所说皆有失偏颇。扬雄进入《汉书》与《汉书》的断限并不冲突,且符合《汉书》"非常之人"的立传标准。此外,联系《汉书》的成书过程及班氏父子的史学观点等因素,可推测《扬雄传》最早可能见于班彪《史记后传》,其后为班固《汉书》所采用。扬雄在《汉书》中受到殊遇,与班氏父子的私人情感有密切关系,亦体现了他们作为史家而兼文士的特点。Huang Chengji, a scholar of the Qing Dynasty, believed that Han Shu should not set up a biography for Yang Xiong, and Zhang Peilun criticized Yang Xiong’s Biography as a nondescript. The investigation revealed that both of them were biased. Han Shu set up a biography for Yang Xiong, which is not in violation of the historical style, but also meets the criteria for selecting characters. In addition, considering the book-writing process of Han Shu, and the historical viewpoints of Ban Biao and Ban Gu, it can be speculated that the biography of Yang Xiong may have appeared in Ban Biao’s Historical Sequel, and then Ban Gu later inherited this approach. The reason why Yang Xiong was able to receive such a special encounter in Han Shu was closely related to the personal feelings of Ban Biao and Ban Gu. It also reflected the characteristics of them as both historians and litterateurs.
