摘　　要：今年85岁的藏族翻译家作家斋林·旺多,从1992年退休后正式开始翻译与文学创作,至今已近30年,成绩斐然。作为第一个将莎士比亚作品译成藏文的人,旺多被誉为“把莎士比亚带到喜马拉雅的人”,他选用英国文艺复兴时期的英语翻译了六世达赖喇嘛仓央嘉措的情歌。他创作的富有藏族特色的小说《斋苏府秘闻》汉语本时隔20年后再度出版。论文介绍了旺多在翻译和文学创作领域的成就,希望以此引起学界的注意,对旺多进行深入研究。The 85-year-old Tibetan translator and writer W·Tailing has been engaged in translation and literary creation for nearly 30 years since he retired in 1992.Great achievements have been made in the past 30 years.As the first person to translate Shakespeare’s works into Tibetan,W·Tailing is praised as“the person who brought Shakespeare to Himalayas”.He translated love songs of the 6th Dalai Lama Tsangyang Gyatso in old English.His Tibetan-featured novel The Secrect Tale of Tesur Housewas published again after 20 years later.This paper focuses on W·Tailing’s achievements in the field of translation and literary creation,hoping to arouse more in-depth research on W·Tailing.
