摘　　要：自2019年12月以来在中国武汉市开始传播新型冠状病毒,基层医疗卫生机构是卫生健康服务体系的"网底",对于做好新型冠状病毒疫情的社区防控和关口前移具有重要基础作用,这也正是评估和认可家庭医生的角色和责任的关键时刻。本刊特邀请世界家庭医生组织(WONCA)主席李国栋教授从家庭医生作为抗击疫情的"守门人"、基层医疗团队的协调者,全面提升能力、积极进行业务创新等方面来阐述家庭医生和基层医疗团队在面对这一全球危机时的挑战和责任。A new coronavirus has begun to spread in Wuhan since December 2019.Primary medical and health institutions are the net bottom of the health service system,which plays an important fundamental role in community prevention and control of the new coronavirus epidemic and in advancing the threshold.It is also a critical moment that the roles and responsibilities of family doctors are assessed and recognised.We invited the President of WONCA Dr. Donald Li to explain the challenges and responsibilities of family doctors and primary medical teams in the face of this global crisis.It includes family doctors as "gatekeepers" in the fight against outbreaks and coordinators of primary care teams,improving their capabilities in an all-round way and actively carrying out business innovation etc.
