摘 要:重离子放疗相对质子、光子放疗具有独特的物理学和生物学优势,使其在最大程度杀灭肿瘤组织的同时尽可能地保护周围正常组织。而碳离子则被公认为是目前最适于放疗的重离子。碳离子放疗在脊索瘤、头颈部恶性肿瘤、非小细胞肺癌、前列腺癌及宫颈癌等恶性肿瘤治疗中的优势已得到初步体现。了解碳离子放疗的特点及其在肿瘤治疗中的应用,有助于临床医生在将来的工作中更好地制定临床决策。Compared with proton and photon,heavy ion radiotherapy has unique physical and biological advantages,which enables it to kill tumor tissues to the greatest degree and protect surrounding normal tissues as much as possible.Carbon ion is recognized as the most suitable heavy ion for radiotherapy at present.Carbon ion radiotherapy in chordoma,head and neck cancer,non-small cell lung cancer,prostate cancer,cervical cancer and other malignant tumor treatment advantages have been preliminarily reflected.Therefore,understanding the characteristics of carbon ion radiotherapy and its application in tumor therapy will help clinicians make better clinical decisions in the future.
