摘  要:海外背景高管的影响很早就出现在创新绩效文献中,然而先前的研究并没有回答具体哪种海外背景对创新绩效的提高更有利。以2012-2017年我国高新技术产业201家上市公司为样本,构建了负二项回归模型来检验不同类型的高管海外背景对企业创新绩效的影响。实证研究表明,高管的海外生产研发背景对创新绩效的提升作用最为显著,管理财务背景与创新绩效负相关;理工科背景对创新绩效有一定的正向作用,文科背景对创新绩效具有负向影响,意味着并非所有类型的海外背景都对创新绩效有积极作用。The influence of executives with has long appeared in the literature of innovation performance. However,previous studies have not answered which overseas background is more beneficial to the improvement of innovation performance. Taking 201 listed companies in China’s high-tech industry from 2012 to 2017 as samples,this paper constructs a negative binomial regression model to test the impact of different types of executives’ overseas backgrounds on innovation performance. The result shows that the executives’ overseas R&D background has the most significant effect on the improvement of innovation performance,and the management financial background has a negative correlation with innovation performance;Executives’ science background has a positive effect on innovation performance in some degree,while liberal arts background has a negative effect. The result means that not all types of overseas background have a positive effect on innovation performance.
