摘　　要：镜面材料可制造空间视觉冲击力及独特的光感效果,是现代空间装饰的常用元素,虽然其在家具设计中的应用研究相对较少,但潜在设计力很强。笔者以镜面材料为研究对象,阐述镜面材料的装饰特点及应用原则,从色泽、局部部件等方面分析论述镜面材料在美式家具中的应用形式与方法,旨为镜面材料在美式家具设计中的运用研究提供一定参考。Mirror material can create unique interior visual impact and light effect,which is a common ele-ment of modern interior decoration. Despite of its rare application in furniture design,it has enormous po-tential design value. Taking the mirror material as the research object,the decorative characteristics and the application principles of the mirror material were expounded. The mirror material application forms and methods in American style furniture in aspects of colour,texture,and component were analyzed and summarized with an aim to provide some reference and new method for mirror materials application in American style furniture design.
