摘　　要：刘文典翻译生物进化论著作,一方面源于他对于进化论的科学作用的认识,同时也是为了反对灵学。而选择翻译丘浅次郎的著作更是经过一番考量。本文考证了刘文典译著的蓝本,并认为他的译文忠实原文、译笔直白流畅。作为近代大量翻译生物进化论的第一人,其传播进化论的贡献应该得到应有的高度评价。Liu Wendian’s translation of works in biological evolution,on the one hand,stems from his understanding of the scientific role of evolution,and on the other hand,it is also due to his opposition to spiritualism.The choice of translating Oka Asajiro’s works has been carefully considered.This article examines the original version of Liu Wendian’s translation and argues that his translation is faithful to the original and the quality is straightforward and fluent.As the first person to translate a large number of works on biological evolution in modern times,his contribution to the spread of evolutionary theory should be highly valued.
