International Tea Day:World Shares a Cup of Tea

摘　　要：12月19日,第74届联合国大会通过决议,将每年5月21日定为"国际茶日"。闻此喜讯,世界茶人欢欣鼓舞。此前,在联合国粮农组织总部大厅里,中国代表团从帮助消除贫困、促进茶叶消费及提升人类健康水平等多个角度阐述设立"国际茶日"的意义。本期特别报道《国际茶日:共饮一杯世界茶》从"国际茶日"的诞生始末出发,关注这片神奇的树叶在全世界的生产、消费之态;解读古今视角下的茶与健康;探求日本、美国等国对于茶叶生产与消费的认知等。The United Nations General Assembly(UNGA)on December 19 adopted a resolution to designate May 21 as the International Tea Day.Tea people all over the world celebrated.Before the adoption,Chinese delegation elaborated on why setting up the International Tea Day could help eliminate poverty,promote tea consumption,and enhance health of humankind at the headquarters of the Food and Ag r iculture Organization of United Nations in November 2019.International Tea Day:World Shares a Cup of Tea in this issue takes a look at global tea production and consumption,examines issues of tea and health,how customers in Japan and the United States understand tea and tea consumption.
