摘　　要：从跨文化交际翻译的角度讨论《儒林外史》,分析了由文化差异造成的译入语中词汇、语义等空缺现象,探讨了译者应采取什么样的必要措施来克服译入语中存在的这些障碍,以使译文读者通过阅读译文更好理解原著等就问题。This paper discusses some questions about cross-cultural communication from the angle of translating of the novel"The Scholars". And it deals with the fact that there exist vocabulary zero, semantic zero, etc. in the target language because of cultural differences and how the translators employed some necessary measures to overcome the obstacles in the target language in order to make the readers of the target language understand the original work better through the translation.
