摘　　要：高步瀛的人生历程分早年活动期、省部仕宦期、潜心从教期三个阶段。他一生著述甚丰,被称为"中国三绝"之一。他的君子品格一方面体现为以天下为己任的担当意识和奉献精神,另一方面体现为对个人品节和道德操守的长期砥砺与坚定固守。他"见利思义",视不义而富且贵如浮云,既清高峻洁、刚直不阿,又仁爱谦和、襟怀开阔。通过探秘讲传古代的考据与辞章,他承担起"为往圣继绝学"的重任,充分实现了生命的价值和意义。在讲台上,他以始终如一的勤谨认真,极好地诠释了为师"传道解惑"的全面内涵,是一个真正的"行不违其所学的人"。Gao Buying′ s life is divided into three stages-the early active stage, the official career of the provincial government,and the teaching stage. He has written extensively throughout his life and is known as one of the "Three Uniques in China". His character of a gentleman is firstly embodied in his sense of responsibility and dedication to the world, and on the other hand in his long-term cultivation and steadfastness to personal integrity and ethics. He "regards righteousness over benefit" and "unrighteous,rich and noble" as "floating clouds", and he is regarded as not only clear and upright, but also benevolent, open-minded, and simple. By probing into and preaching the Textual Research and diction of ancient times, he undertook the important task of "continuing to study for the sage" and fully realized the value and significance of life. On the platform, with his diligence and conscientiousness, he explained the comprehensive connotation of "teaching", as a true "one who does follow what he has learned."
