China National Flower Should Include Mei Flower--Deeper Thoughts and Discussion on Double National Flowers of Mei Flower and Peony

摘　　要：国花是被选作一国表征的花卉植物,用以反映人民的传统感情。当前,中国是世界上唯一尚未确认国花的大国。提出了国花评选原则和标准,对比了世界127个国家国花的特点;分析了中国优良花卉丰富而导致国花难以确定的原因;回顾了40年国花评选历史。重点阐述梅花牡丹双国花的四大理由(生物学属性、地域分布及应用价值;深厚的社会历史民族基础;完整中国形象和传统文化代表;中华民族精神象征);讨论了梅花牡丹双国花推动实现中华民族伟大复兴的重大意义。最后,提出了科技创新推动梅花产业高质量发展的目标任务、主要内容、实施路线图、实现途径和保障措施。The national flower is the flower plant chosen as the characterization of a country to reflect the traditional feelings of the people. At present, China is the only major country that has not yet confirmed the national flower. The paper put forward the principles and criteria for selecting the national flower, compared the characteristics of national flowers in 127 countries, analyzed the reasons why it is difficult to determine China’s national flower, and reviewed the 40-year history of national flower selection. It expounded four reasons of double national flowers of Mei flower and peony(biological attributes, geographical distribution and utilization value;deep national and social foundation;complete Chinese image and traditional culture representative;symbol of Chinese national spirits), and discussed the great significance of the double national flowers of Mei flower and peony in promoting the realization of Chinese Dream. Finally, it put forward the goal and task, main contents, road map, realization approach and supporting measures of promoting the high-quality development of Mei flower industry by scientific and technological innovation.
