康儒博英译道教典籍《神仙传》的互文解读模式

摘　　要：本文围绕美国汉学家康儒博研究、翻译的东晋道教学者葛洪《神仙传》的著作《与天地同寿:葛洪〈神仙传〉翻译与研究》,从译本与疏解内容的相互关联、译本与相关研究之间的关系两个维度,探讨该译本的翻译模式。研究发现,该翻译成果将疏解内容、前期对《神仙传》以及葛洪的另一作品《抱朴子内篇》的相关翻译研究、译本等同置于一个开放、交叉、吸收、转化的动态网络之中,这种互文关联的翻译模式可有效引导读者从《神仙传》源文本语言所彰显的神仙文化研究走向翻译研究。This study focuses on To Live as Long as Heaven and Earth:A Translation and Study of Ge Hong’s Traditions of Divine Transcendents by the American scholar Robert F.Campany,in which he centers on Shenxian Zhuan,a book on Taoism written by a Taoist scholar in the eastern Jin dynasty.Campany discusses his translation mode from two perspectives:the correlation between the translated text and the content of annotations,and the correlation between the translated text and previous translations.This paper concludes that this intertextual approach—being open and overlapping,assimilating and transforming—successfully guides readers from the study of Taoist immortal culture to the study of the translation in Shenxian Zhuan.
