Changes and Developments of Paradigm: 100 Years’ History of Chinese Historiography

摘  要:100年来的中国史学史研究大致经历了五个时期:萌生时期(20世纪20年代)、文献学时期(20世纪30-50年代)、意识形态化时期(20世纪60-80年代中期)、唯物史观时期(20世纪80年代中期-90年代)、会通时期(21世纪以来);四个范式:文献学范式、意识形态范式、唯物史观范式、社会史范式。纵观中国史学史研究100年发展历程,学术层面影响史学史研究的因素主要有三:一是史学认识论水平,二是已有研究成果水平,三是研究者学术素养。只有不断提高史学认识论水平,批判承继前人研究成果,提高研究者学术素养,才能实现研究范式创新和开创研究新局面。史学认识论较长时间未有大突破,对前人研究反思总结不足,以及新生代研究者学术素养有待进一步提高,使中国史学史研究继往开来面临不小困难。In the past ninety years,the study of the history of Chinese historiography could be divided into five periods: the period of embryo(the 1920s);the period of philology (from the 1930s to the 1950s);the period of ideologization (from the 1960s to the mid-1980s);the period of historical materialism (from the mid-1980s to the 1990s);the period of integration(since the twenty-first century),which contained four paradigms: Philology paradigm,Ideology paradigm,Historical Materialist paradigm and Social Historical paradigm. Looking back on the development of the history of Chinese historiography in the past ninety years,we know that there are many factors influencing the development of historiography. Of all the factors,there are three main aspects. First,the level of historical epistemology. Second,the level of existing research. Third,the academic quality of the researchers. Only by constantly improving the level of historical epistemology,critically critiquing and inheriting the achievements of previous studies,and improving the academic quality of researchers,can we realize the innovation of the research paradigm and create a new situation. When we practice,we will find some problems in reality,such as the lack of theory in historical epistemology which made it unable to achieve a big breakthrough for a long time. In addition,our review and summary of the previous studies are still far from enough,and the academic quality of the new generation of researchers remains to be improved. To sum up,these realistic problems make the development of Chinese historiography study face great difficulties.
