莆仙方言的“邁(噧)”

摘　　要：考察在《莆仙戏传统剧目丛书》(第一卷)中出现48次的多义词“邁(噧)”,认为:“邁”字应当属于方言借音字(“噧”当属自造字);戏剧中的用字往往为音读服务,因此“邁(噧)”是用来记录莆仙方言中音读为[mai 5]/[me 5]的含义;通过与《说文》《广韵》及临近方言的仔细比对考察,方言用字“邁(噧)”的本字应当为“覛(古之觅)”“糸”,当“邁(噧)”表示“准备;查看、寻找;接待”义时本字为“覛”,表示“慢”义时本字为“糸”。There are many polysemy words in A series of traditional plays of puxian Opera(Volume I),and"Mai(Xie)"frequently appears for 48 times in the series.After investigation,"Mai(Xie)"should belong to borrowed word and self-made character.The words used in drama often serve for pronunciation.Therefore,"Mai(Xie)"is used to record the middle tone reading of Xian You dialect for the meaning of[mai 5]/[me 5].Through careful comparison with Shuowen,Guangyun and adjacent dialects,the original word of"Mai(Xie)"should be"miⅠ(ancient search)"and"miⅡ".When"Mai(Xie)"means"check,look for;receive;prepare",the word is"miⅠ";And when"slow",the word is"miⅡ".
