摘　　要：蔡元培曾留学德国,回国后,将在西方获得的教育理念用于民国时期的教育改革中。在担任北京大学校长期间,遵循“思想自由、兼容并包”原则,将西方的大学制度渗透于对北京大学的一系列改革之中,提出大学应享有高度的自治权、学术自由权和教授治校权,为中国现代大学制度的建立作出了卓越贡献。Cai Yuan-pei had ever studied in Germany,and after he returned homeland,he applied the educational concepts acquired in the West to educational reforms in the Republic of China.During the period of being president of Peking University,he followed the principle of“freedom of thought,compatibility and inclusion”,penetrated the western university system into a series of reforms in Peking University,and proposed that universities should enjoy the right of high-degree autonomy,the right of academic freedom and the right of professors’governance on the university,and he has made outstanding contributions to the establishment of modern university system in China.
