摘　　要：Fuzhou,a city in Southeast Chinafs Fujian Province,is renowned for its cork carvings.Craftspeople engrave various patterns(including animals,plants,flowers,scenes and/or buildings)on the bark of corks,which are imported from Portugal,Spain or Arab states.If you take the time to examine the exquisite carving on the bark,you will no doubt be impressed by the artist's skill.There is little wonder,then,that many Chinese use"silent poems"and"three-dimensional paintings"as metaphors to describe the carvings.“福州三宝”之一的国家级非物质文化遗产福州软木画,以进口栓树皮(俗称软木)为材料,甶雕刻艺人以刀代笔,在软木上雕刻亭台楼阁、树木花草、小桥流水、回廊曲径以及人物鸟兽等各种题材。这项绝美的手工技艺被誉为“无声的诗、立体的画”。
